I have gotten so much done today! I love it when I have the energy to go the extra distance.lol So far I've;

Done half the wash.

Thoroughly cleaned my bathroom, including the gigantic tub and shower, and swept and mopped.(Here's a cleaning hint: use a mop to scrub your tubs and showers. No bending required!)

Changed my sheets, cleaned my room, and vaccumed.

Went grocery shopping! The bill was much better and I think you all were right. Nothing was on sale last week and it made things much worse.lol

The kids have:

Worked on school work.

Allison cleaned her bathroom and the great room, including vaccuming.

Jon cleaned the dining room, including vaccuming, and helped put all the groceries away.

Genevieve and Isaac made messes.lol

I stilll need to finish all the wash, do the ironing, wash the containers I took out of the fridge, make dinner, and then I'll call it a day. The kids need to finish up their school work and tidy their rooms. The youngers need to quit making messes.lol

My only real goal for this week is to finish the Christmas shopping. I just couldn't get it all done last week. OH, and I need to make that dressing! The kids ate all the bacon, so I had to wait until I went shopping in order to make it.lol I also need to mail out my Christmas cards and calendars sometime this week. I've decided to wait until next year to do a letter. Really, if someone wanted to know what's going on in my life they could just come here.lol

Blessings,

Lisa

What a productive day. I'm really missing doing Christmas School this year...but I really want to have guilt-free time to play when Mike is home....

Love the tip about bathtubs...but I consider the bending to be my "stretching exercises" for the week. LOL

This is killing me. We have always taken from Thanksgiving week all the way to Jan.2nd off since we began homeschooling. Down in Miami, it was the perfect time but up here it would be a waste. Now we are trying to save our vacation time for better weather but it's hard to break with tradition. Anyway, I feel your pain.lol

Normally, I don't have an adversion to bending but right now, well, forget it. If I HAD to bend to clean the tub, it wouldn't get done.lol My friend from Miami showed me this and it's been a life saver for my grout and my back.lolol

I love the tip - but I fear nothing will save my grout....it has needed to be redone since we moved in....I clean and by the end of the day the mold is back coming through it.... Some day I will live in a brand new house...but then I won't have my grout excuse. LOL

That's how it was in Miami. A newer house really does help with the growth problem.LOL Our home in Miami was over 50 years old and you didn't even need to add water for the mold to grow. lol

Well, if I didn't have to sit down between jobs, I could be a whole lot busier.lolol

We could "all" be a whole lot busier I'm sure. It's hard work growing a baby so be sure to rest often!
