Lisa, is LG a brand. I don't think I've ever seen or heard of it. I would love a front load, but we opted for the regular top load.

Yep! They sell them at Home Depot. I think Eric told me they just started selling here in the states but that they are big in Europe. We also bought the LG Range and it's coming tomorrow. I'll take a picture of it too.lol

Oh, and it got good ratings on Consumer Reports.

It doesn't cook your dinner? Man!....I am still looking for the washing machine that does this, but none do, it seems. Actually, I would rather one clean my house than cook. I do enjoy cooking.

I bought Whirlpool Front Load Washer and Dryer back in October! I LOVE them! I can wash tons of jeans and or towels at the sametime! HUGE CAPACITY! Congratulations!

Looks like it could be a bathtub too! I'm looking forward to seeing your new range too. Yikes, I bet you've had enough appliance research to last you a few years!

Diann,

No, no dinner cooking but my new range is doing a good job of that.lol Now, a washing machine/maid is a good idea. Think of all the freed up time we'd have!lol

Emily,

I love my new washer! It's got the best capacity we could find at over 4 cu ft! Definitely a time saver and I love that it saves 20 gallons of water for each load!

Kristine,

If I never buy another appliance, I'll be a happy woman.lol Since we moved in this house, we've replaced the toaster, can opener, microwave, range, refridgerator, dishwasher, and washing machine. ugh.lol
