The Sophia Chronicles...

Just look at that jaunty happy gal...
I don't MEAN to be any trouble...

Sophia is now on breathing treatments. This is actually a good thing. She's been so winded and wheezy I'm thankful that the dr. has given us something to help her.
What a difference it has made! She's back to her usual bouncy and happy self. She may never sleep again, lol, but at least she can breathe! Another major blessing is that she's not afraid of the 11 year old nebulizer that sounds like it's going to suck you in.LOL Isaac on the other hand, went balistic, freaked out, screamed a high pitch scream that you could feel more than hear, then tried to fight us off, protecting his little sister from the evil machine. At least we know he cares.LOL Poor guy is still in shock.
Blessings,
Lisa

Lisa, I am so glad that Sophia is feeling so much better. There is nothing worse than having a sick child.

Gabe was diagnoses with asthma when he was about 18 months old after a terrible winter of cold after cold.

Lisa - I'm so glad to hear that Sophia is doing better. Those breathing treatments can be a life saver. Of course, my crew always got terribly hyper on them.

I love, love that top picture. Adorable smile! :)

Ughh! Jack was in hospital for a week with RSV and pneumonia when he was 11 months old. He had to have the nebulizer for weeks too. I know how scary and exhausting it all is!

I'm glad she's looking better!

Thanks everyone! Please continue to pray for her. It's going to be a long road to recovery but she's on her way.

Debbie,

Jon has Asthma too and was diagnosed very early on. You're right, there's nothing worse than a sick little one. They are so helpless.
Thanks Kathy,

I LOVE that photo too.LOL

Dorothy,

We were told this could take at least 2 more weeks to get over. She'll have been sick for 1 1/2months by then. We think she had RSV and was working towards pneumonia. Luckily the meds have kicked in.
