The Days of Our Genevieve...

Genevieve loves this program. These cards that she is looking through are the introduction to a sound or sound combo. Veritas Press uses real art to introduce each sound. We use crayons for her writing assignments because they are easier for her to hold. This program is so visually appealing and fun! She decorated a mask yesterday and will be making butter on Monday. Today she had a review of the three letters that she's learned so far and she did great! She had to write the letters from memory corresponding with a picture. She got them all correct and remembered how to write each letter. I'm very happy with this curriculum!

Where is that letter B?

Blessings,
Lisa

Lisa, this looks very interesting. What is the program called?

The Veritas Press Phonics Museum. We're really enjoying it. It has LOTS of review for each sound or lesson and it's very grown up looking. Evie asks to do this everyday. It's the best program that I've found!

I remember Evie being so very energetic as a toddler. She's always done everything at 200%, at full speed ahead. I have my own child similar to this, and I've never considered that he applies himself to school in the same way--until I read this. Hmm. Thanks for the eye opener!

Debbie, I'm familiar with Veritas Press from the standpoint of their terrific book suggestions within their curriculum. Additionally, they have a very intense curriculum for older/high school children, I believe called Omnibus. Their catalog, imo, ranks right up there with SL.

I love Veritas Press. Everything that I've bought from them has been good.

Kristine,

You're right. 200% no matter *what* she's doing.LOL

Sounds like a GREAT program. I 've always seen it in the catalog and thought it would be fun to try.
