In a Strange Twist of Events...

We are less one child for the next week. Yes, folks, Evie has left the building.

Sophia's worried that she's next...

I don't know what my parents were thinking but they asked us yesterday if they could take her to Texas and Kansas with them and her cousin Briana. Of course, we didn't want to deprive them of time with their granddaughter so we said yes.

Now, I know that we have four more children but I have to say it's almost like they took them all.

Isaac certainly looks happy...

It's given Eric some extra time for serious father-son talks.

This here's a car, Daddy.

And it's given Eric some extra play time with our quiet guy...

Choo-choo...

The older kids are enjoying the time off also. Jon is finally planting the veggie garden and Allison is hiding in her room playing guitar. I'm taking it easy since I hurt my wrist on Thursday. It's feeling better today but I need it to be ALL better by Monday. Remember folks, the vacuum always wins.lololol

Blessings,

Lisa

Isn't it strange how just removing one child from the mix can change the dynamics and feel of the whole household. Even when my oldest (and by far easiest child) is gone, it seems quieter and the house emptier.

How long will she be gone??

Yes, it's a big difference. When the older three were gone last month it was quite different and harder since no one was there to play with the littlest ones.

She's going to be gone for 10 DAYS!!! I miss her already. By the way, I did the rotation for you. Click on The Preschool Rotation on my labels and you'll see it.

I'm always amazed how much quiter things are with just one less person in the home. WOW.. 10 days is a VERY LONG TIME!

10 days wow but it sounds like she's having fun (read through a few posts in catch up mode here, LOL). Nice pictures, Sophia is changing so fast!

No Way!! A rotation blog just for me? Well, me and all of your other hundreds of fans. :) Cool. Boy, that's what happens when you go out of town and get all behind on your blog reading.

My wonderful dh set up my RSS reader so I could keep up with some of my favorite blogs while I was gone but the whole dial-up thing was so annoyingly slow that I must have missed your post. I'll be checking it out as soon as I can.

Thanks for taking the time to work on it!
