Evie can barely contain her excitement...
Never, I repeat, never tell the kids about an upcoming vacation! (unless it's 5 minutes before you leave.lol) Evie is just about to come unglued with the anticipation of the trip to my sister's on Friday.LOL She's so excited! If I can just get through today, I think we'll be o.k. Poor Isaac is going to be so disappointed when everyone leaves without him. He loves to go with Grandma but he also expects to come home in the evening so I know this is for the best. Luckily, Daddy will be home a few short hours after they leave and then he'll be fine. This is the first trip without us that the older kids have ever taken.
I'm praying for a safe trip, really good behavior for all going, and for them to have a great time.

Nothing.LOL We're SO exciting, aren't we? With two little ones, we'll probably be just trying to hang in there. Now that you've brought it up, makes me think I should find SOMETHING for us to do...lol I'll let you know if I come up with anything.lol
How fun! Who's taking care of Isaac while you're gone? I love that picture of Evie. So cute!!!
I am.LOL I'm not going. Only the three older kids will be going with my parents up to my sister's house. It's their first trip without us. I'm envious.LOL
It will give Isaac a chance to have some great Mom and Dad time alone! How exciting for Evie, too, to be included with the "big kids."
You know, Lisa, they WILL be wonderfully behaved! What a nice break for you too, just to have some more YOU and quiet time with three kids away visiting! Will Isaac and Sophia go to bed early enough that you might even spend an evening alone with your dh? (Ah, I'm dreaming here!)
Isaac definitely needs some extra mommy time. I'm hoping that Sophia will be good and I'll have extra time to give him.LOL
Lord willing, Eric and I will have our evenings free.LOL
My Mom took the 4 older kids out this morning shopping and said that Evie was REALLY wound up.LOL She has NO IDEA!lolol
