Book Review...

Mum's the Word by Kate Collins was a bit like Disney World.LOL Long waits and short good parts. I liked the characters and will read another one to see if the author gets better. Mrs. Collins started a lot of rabbit trails and really didn't follow up on all of them. It was kind of frustrating when the book ended and I was still left wondering about some things.

Abby is a drop out law student who opens a flower shop. She stumbles onto a murder when she sees someone runnning from the scene of the crime. With her friends and a hunky P.I. she decides to solve the case. Very cozy mystery.

Blessings,

Lisa

I got this series for my mother since she is a florist. She was trying to thank me while still saying these mysteries are not really her cup of tea. It was funny. I think I'm the only one I know who actually liked the series. LOL

I did like the characters, I just felt it moved slowly and that there was alot of waiting between the fun stuff. I've ordered the next books from the library and will give them a try. Sometimes the first book isn't the best.lol
