And The Winner Is....

Here's the deal. The next few days are going to be busy for us. Allison, who was supposed to be the judge, doesn't get back until tomorrow afternoon but we have some out of town friends coming here the same time. It's a surprise for the kids, so don't tell.LOL So I've decided to take things into my own hands and judge for myself. After looking at everyone's work, I have to say that I'm proud of all participants. You all did what I asked, did GREAT jobs, and you were brave enough to post before photos.LOL Because you all did such a great job, it was very hard to decide who to give the gift certificate to. I could just keep typing all night long but I'm just going to tell you who won.LOL

Debbie is this month's winner. Congratulations! Not only did she clean, she decluttered, rearranged, and really, went above and beyond the call of duty. She really impressed me by her willingness to keep going when the going got tough and by making that room homey and inviting. This has also inspired her dh to work on his own areas, making this achievement far reaching. Any cleaning that inspires others, should be commended. I'm really proud of you!

Because everyone had fun with my cleaning challenge, I've decided to create a second challenge starting August 1st. I'll post the rules and graphic later today or tomorrow, first chance I get.

I am blessed by you all and so thankful that I have so many friends willing to do even the yucky stuff, like cleaning, with me. Keep up the good work and I'll set up the next challenge soon.

Blessings,

Lisa

If y'all can figure out a way to inspire my husband to tackle his own area (& y'all KNOW what area I'm referring to) -- I will send you ALL a $10 gift card.

At this point I'm thinking the inspiration is going to have to come in the form of dynamite.

Congratulations to Debbie! I was also impressed with how she stuck wtih it *AND* how she got it done in a month! Me.. I'm still working (LOL). I actually did do my room - I just haven't had time to post about it. I hope it's ok to still put up the previous icon and pictures because I LOVE the icons the kids made for the previous challenge.

Lisa, thanks so much! I should be sending you a prize. You have no idea how posting those pictures pricked at my pride everyday and kept me going. And the end result is such a wonderful balm. I also have to comment that my hubby helped. He is always willing to pitch in.

Keep at it Cynthia, you can do it.

Liz, no help with inspiring your hubby, my guy just saw the good end result and started working. I think he realized that it can be done...if that terribly messy bedroom can get clean, than anything can!

This was a great challenge (to watch, lol!). Not only was Debbie's transformation amazing, but it also made a huge difference in her every day life.

LOL! You all are great! I was so worried about picking a winner since everyone did such a great job. I almost sent everyone a gift certificate but I didn't think my dh would like that too much.LOL
