It's been a crazy week. 6 dentist appts at two different locations, one Dr. appt for camp, and Isaac's surgery was supposed to be Thursday but the laser broke and so he went without food all day for nothing. Oh, and we had the dishwasher repairman out all day on Friday. It was a great weekend though! We went to a Concert on the Green hosted by the community college next door to us on Sunday and it was a lot of fun. The kids loved the music and they also loved the jugglers. They had a butterfly release and good food too. Everyone enjoyed themselves and after we got home, we were treated to fabulous fireworks right outside our front door. Now that's entertainment!

The Days of Our Genevieve...

Genevieve is our ball of fire!


At least she's well trimmed.


She's really growing up. The more I see, the more I like.LOL I can see her doing great things one day. She's really doing well in gymnastics and in PE. She's almost reading, just starting really but it's a good start. She's catching on pretty quick and loves the new books I got her for next year. I've almost read them all to her already.LOL When I think of Genevieve, I think FIRE. She's going to be on fire in her life and I pray that she will be on fire for God. What a blessing she is to me!

My MIL hurt her foot two weeks ago and when Evie heard about it she immediately wrote her a get well card. Then she ran to Jon and told him that Grandma fell out of an airplane and broke her foot.lol (She actually stepped off the curb at the airport and broke her foot.)



Fire indeed.

My Mom wants you to know that I'm now a 29 pounder. That's right! 29 POUNDS! No wonder Mom is having a hard time carrying me around. I'm a third of her weight. :snort:

My MIL came over for a visit the other day, just to play with the kids. They ALL had such a great time and so did I! I don't get many visitors and it was nice to talk with someone over the age of my kids. Here are some photos...

Storage...

Here is our kid's dressers...




Bottom drawer is for winter, top drawer is for summer. Once we're deep into summer, the winter things get stored in the garage and the bottom drawers store swimsuits and such.

I have another little 4 drawer storage area for their underwear and socks.

My Week in Pictures...

Here are some photos from this past week. It's been busy but a good one.

Let's see. We took Allison to Lifeguard class on Tuesday and Thursday. Had P.E. on those days as well. Took Evie to her gymnastics on Wednesday and scouts for Jon on Monday. Today, we all went to the park. It was HOT. Who'd of guessed?lol Then I had my veggie co-op and also did some grocery shopping. Tomorrow, Allison has class all day. She'll be learning CPR. I'm guessing she'll really enjoy the class. She's really taken to Lifeguarding and I can see her being successful. Jon will be catching up on some work that he neglected, instead of skating. The rest of us will be having a nice relaxing day off.lol I think Sophia was telling me today that if she had to ride in the car one more time and then not even be able to get out at the end, she'd mutiny. I don't blame her.LOL

Well, that's it. We will be "rinsing and repeating" next week. I'm blessed that my kids are growing into such great young adults and I'm thankful that in August, Allison will be able to drive herself. :snort:

Jon's Birthday part two...

He was soooo happy! It was new barrings for his skate wheels. These are expensive and good ones.
