Was spent finishing off Apologia Biology with the dissections. Whoo-hoo! We're FINALLY done!
Here's Allison with the worm...
Here's Jon giving it a go...
This is what happens when you have little ones who can't be left out of anything...I had the older kids in the garage for many different reasons and the littles snuck out with their Dad and were found in many photos. Does this mean they get highschool credit too?lol
Evie was hilarious. Allison would say, "This is a girl fish." and Evie would say, "Where?" and Allison would say, "Right here. This fish is a girl fish." and Evie would say, "Where?" and Allison would say, "This dead fish that I'm cutting open, is a girl fish!" and Evie said, "Where's the boy fish?"lolol
There's Isaac getting a better view...
Jon, quit eating the specimen!
Jon, quit making friends with the specimen!
Well, the kids had fun. By the end, both kids dissected two specimens each and the littles got quite an education.lol Pretty good day all in all.
Blessings,

That's what I love about homeschooling. I love watching the older kids teaching the younger ones! They have such a different perspective on everything!
LOL! They are a big help and the littles definitely have an advantage.lol
Totally gross!!! But great exposure for the littles! (This big woulda been outta there too!)
I'm guessing the littles will remember some of this when it's their turn for this science. they're getting a great head start!
Ah, we did the worm this week, too! We haven't done the others yet. Yuck!
Yuck is right. I couldn't believe that the littles enjoyed this.lol
We are finally DONE with this subject. Yep, two years and I'll never do it again.lol
We still have one more thing to dissect.
