An announcement...

We're expecting another blessing next year! This one is due sometime around April 1st. It's a bit of a surprise, but we're pretty excited.

I've not been feeling that great, but so far I'm hanging in there.lol

The littles are so excited about this new little one! Names have been flying around like paper airplanes.lol I have to say that I'm pretty much out of names. I've been joking that I'm going to set up a jar and let everyone put their favorite names into it. At least then, I can say, "Go put it in the jar." Instead of being continuously peppered by kids non-stop all day long. (How 'bout Trucker?lol)

In other news, Allison will be taking three classes at the college instead of two. They had an opening for Spanish and we jumped at it. This is the best possible class line-up that we could have hoped for. She's taking English Comp, College Algebra, and Spanish 1. Next semester, if all goes well, she'll take PreCalc, Spanish 2, and a beginning Chem class. She's also decided to join one swimteam instead of two. She really liked the highschool coach and will go there.

I guess that's it. lol Here are some photos from the past two weeks...

Evie and Sophia hamming it up...

Jon, the snake catcher...

He's also the "Do math/science on my hand guy" too.

Isaac's creation... It's really huge and he wouldn't let us put it away for THREE days!...
Just for perspective, our tiles are 18" square...

Blessings,

Lisa

Lisa!!!! What exciting news! So many blessings in store for your family this year. That's awesome about Allison and the CC; your two older kids have been an inspiration to me as we journey down this homeschool path just behind you.

I'm not sure which is worse--Jon's snake or math gibberish, lol. (Actually both are cool, just things you will never find on MY hand!)

Isaac's creation is quite wonderful. Isn't it nice to be able to save it via a digital picture, instead of having to completely destroy it and have it forgotten?!

Oh, I'm just so excited for you. Robert and I will always wish that God had blessed us with more children, but we also find great comfort in the assurance that HE knows HIS plans for us.

Congratulations, Lisa! I'll be happy for you, but I'm not going to be envious--four's enough for me. Hope the next ~8 months go smoothly for you!

I'm so very excited for you and your family on all fronts. Congrats on the new life brewing....and to Allison as well.

I was thinking of you and Jon the other day at the train station....Jon really needs to get over here for a bit of an exchange study program since he's so interested in this culture.....If he can make it in the next few years......

Congrats on your pregnancy! I hope you are feeling good and not experiencing too much morning sickness. BTW, a name jar is a GREAT idea.

Congrats on the new little one! Glad Allison decided to join only one swim team. That sounded like a LOT of work to do two!

Thanks Kristine! This is going to be a big year for us. We are excited to see what God has in store for us.

I do love having a camera that can capture all these memories! I didn't have a digital camera with my first two and we don't have as many photos of them.

Carol,

Thank you for the well-wishes! Four is a lot, I agree.LOL I'm hoping that I'll start feeling better soon and can get back to the daily grind.LOL

De'Etta,

Thanks!

I'd love to get Jon over there while you're there! We'll just continue to pray over when the best time is for him to go. It would be a wonderful opportunity though.

Thanks Lisa!

Sandra,

Thanks so much! I'm hanging in there so far. The morning sickness isn't too horrible this time around.

LOL! I've already implemented the name jar. The kids loved the idea and it's keeping me sane.

Cynthia,

I'm glad also! She's was way over-booking herself. I think that she'll be happy with the one team and she can always join the other team once the highschool season is over.

Yeah! What exciting news! I can't wait to tell the kids. I'm so happy for you...about the baby. And, I'm excited for Allison, too. Savannah's homeschooling again this year, after 2 years in school. We're already discussing next year! Argh.
Hope you feel better soon. I know it's frustrating not to be in top condition with the kiddies around. I'll be praying for a safe and healthy delivery.
Many Blessings to you all. Love ya!

I suppose if the children write all their lessons on their hands it saves buying consumable workbooks!

Cool snake and fun pictures. I am so behind in blog reading.

Lisa, I haven't been reading many blogs, but tonight I had a few minutes and I surfed through the SHS blogs to catch up. I just read your announcement.

Congratulations! How exciting!
